Discover Ebi Bar

If you’re ever in the mood for an unforgettable dining experience, Ebi Bar in Singapore is a must-visit. Located at 5 Koek Rd, #B1-21, Singapore 228796, this trendy eatery offers a delightful mix of modern Japanese cuisine, perfectly crafted for those who appreciate fresh, flavorful seafood. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a sleek, modern interior that’s both welcoming and stylish-setting the tone for a memorable meal ahead.

Ebi Bar has built a solid reputation for its exceptional take on sushi and seafood, offering a fresh and innovative approach. The menu is designed to cater to all palates, with a focus on high-quality ingredients and flavors that burst in every bite. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or someone new to Japanese cuisine, there’s something here that’ll satisfy your taste buds.

One of the highlights of Ebi Bar is its signature dish: the Ebi Tempura Roll. It features crispy, golden-brown shrimp tempura paired with creamy avocado and topped with a luscious soy-based sauce that gives it a perfect balance of sweet and savory. It’s a dish that’s both crispy and creamy, making it a fan favorite for those looking to indulge in a satisfying, comforting meal.

The sushi rolls here are an absolute treat. They’re not just beautifully presented but packed with flavor in every single bite. Take the “Ebi Don” for example-a generous portion of perfectly cooked shrimp, paired with a tangy sauce and served over a bed of sushi rice. The texture of the shrimp combined with the sweetness of the sauce is simply divine. And, of course, they don’t just stop at shrimp-if you’re a fan of different seafood, there are options like tuna, salmon, and even a decadent lobster roll that will make you wish you had more room in your stomach.

But it’s not just about the sushi. The sides and appetizers at Ebi Bar are equally impressive. Their seaweed salad is a refreshing starter, with a perfect balance of crunch and tang. It complements the heavier dishes beautifully, providing a light, savory contrast. Another crowd favorite is the miso soup, which has a rich umami flavor that warms you from the inside out-a perfect way to begin your meal.

If you’re looking to share, the sharing platters are another great option. These platters are thoughtfully curated, with a variety of dishes that allow you to sample multiple flavors at once. Whether it’s the sashimi platter, which showcases a variety of fresh fish, or the mixed sushi platter, there’s plenty to go around. The presentation is immaculate, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into pairing the dishes.

Service at Ebi Bar is another reason why people keep coming back. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that your experience is nothing short of exceptional. Whether it’s explaining the nuances of the menu or recommending wine pairings to complement your meal, you’ll feel well taken care of.

Ebi Bar also offers a great selection of drinks, with everything from Japanese beers to sake and cocktails that incorporate unique Asian flavors. For those who enjoy a good drink alongside their meal, there’s no shortage of options to choose from. The sake is particularly noteworthy, with a range of types that perfectly pair with the delicate flavors of the dishes.

As for the atmosphere, it’s the kind of place that feels both casual and upscale at the same time. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite during lunch or settling in for a leisurely dinner, the ambiance is just right. The modern decor and cozy seating create an environment that’s ideal for both solo dining and group gatherings.

Many reviews praise Ebi Bar for its consistent quality and exceptional flavors. The attention to detail in both the food and service has earned it a loyal following, and it’s easy to see why. For anyone looking to enjoy a delightful Japanese dining experience in Singapore, Ebi Bar should be at the top of your list.

What really stands out about Ebi Bar is how they bring together the best elements of traditional Japanese cuisine while adding a modern twist. The results are fresh, delicious, and expertly crafted dishes that keep patrons coming back for more. The combination of a fantastic menu, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere makes Ebi Bar one of Singapore’s top spots for sushi and seafood lovers.

  • Ordered Ebi & Veg Fritter Noodle at $14.19. Impressed by the thick shrimp flavoured savoury soup. Noodle is smooth and chewy. The fritter is crispy and has seasoning. Fritter’s seasoning is strong saltiness, which over power the soup; suggest to have the soup first then noodle then fritter. Not to forget the very good and spicy sambal which goes very well with fritter. There’s whole day happy hour of wine at $7.90 only. Although, closing time on Google is 9pm on Saturday, but it’s sold out earlier and closed at 8:30pm and I’m the last customer.

  • Nestled in the Basement of an ulu mall, this place is truly a gem! The Prawns were veryyyyy fresh and huge, and had a good char as well. Ebi Bar Hokkien Noodles (amazing/10) - Being someone who loves strong flavours, this dish was my ultimate favourite. It came with 2 huge charred prawns which added a good wokhey flavour to the dish and peeled prawns as well. I love how the noodles soaked up the broth so well. Personally feel that the Ikura was a little redundant as it didn't add much texture or flavour to the dish imo. The chilli was also good and complemented the dish well. It might taste better if there was some lard in it, but still a wonderful dish that I would come back for. Trio Treasure (9/10) - picture traditional prawn noodles with a refreshing prawn broth, but with super good ingredients. If you like light flavours, this is the dish for you! The prawn broth was flavourful yet light and refreshing. Noodles texture was good, prawn was also fresh and charred. It came with shrimp ball and fried shrimp dumplings which was no longer crispy when served to us. Perhaps might be better if served separately from the soup dish! Chilled Tofu with sauce (8/10) - refreshing, light and on the sweeter side, but complemented the main dishes Ah Ma's Acar (8/10) - a good bowl of flavourful Acar with jellyfish which helped cut jelak taste from other dishes like the salted mackerel chicken Salted Mackerel Fried Chicken (8/10) - this is a similar concept to Har Jeong Gai chicken but the flavours of the salted mackerel was distinct. An interesting dish but on the saltier side; matches well with the Acar and Chilled Tofu in terms of flavour as it got jelak over time. Definitely will be back for again!

  • I have so much about Ebi Bar and finally got a chance to try it out. We tried their signature charred prawn noodles, charred prawn pao fan and dry prawn noodles. The soup was flavourful and goes very well with the pao fan and noodles. The dry noodles was unexpectedly good. I thought it would taste like any hokkien mee, but I was wrong. The wok hey was awesome. It's next in my list. I also ordered a salted egg chicken to share as a side.

  • Super nice food. Especially if you're into charred prawns. Get the recommendation from the staff. Portion is very filling. I think I've tried almost all on the menu. It's like my goto place for lunch

  • Delicious Ebi Delights: I went for the Ebi Prawn Noodles, and I loved that they used ramen-style noodles—such a nice twist and super tasty. My colleagues had the Ebi Prawn Hokkien Mee (stir-fried noodles with prawns) and the Ebi Pao Fan, which is prawns and rice in a super flavorful broth. The portions were generous Every dish was on point. And for just a little extra (+$3.90), we got a drink and a side dish, which was a great deal. Friendly Service: Eve, our server, was great! She made sure we were comfy and even offered us disposable gloves for the prawns. Plus, she split the bill for us with no hassle at all. Will definitely be back!

  • LOVE LOVE the soup! The broth is really thick-tasted with its prawns and it’s just one of the best soup I have ever tried! Their noodles are also cooked super well and just to my liking, soft yet doesn’t break easily! Enjoyed their side dishes as well! The tofu was good and filling and also enjoyed their fresh prawn. Everything is just great and I cannot recommend this more! It can get crowded as the space is small so if you can, do come earlier or book a reservation!

  • Amazing hokkien mee! I understand that Hokkien Mee can be bought at hawker centres for cheaper. However, aircon and genuine ingredients that don't leave you thirsty (i.e. unlike too much MSG) is well worth it! And i think it tastes nicer than most hawker centre hokkien mee!
